The organization is seeking a strategic leader to direct its International Community Team across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as a fixed-term leave replacement.
This contract position is designated for individuals based in the United Kingdom. Reporting to the Director of International Community, the incoming professional will formulate and execute regional community growth plans, guide the scaling of playbooks, and manage a team of Community Specialists. The role involves designing activations, improving moderation processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional departments including Product, Engineering, and Growth. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the regional community strategy in alignment with overarching organizational goals
- Scale the community and moderator growth playbook by launching initiatives in key markets
- Lead, mentor, and coach regional staff while translating strategy into actionable sprint priorities
- Recruit, onboard, and train local community specialists to enhance collaboration with moderators
- Partner with cross-functional units like Growth, Product, and Engineering for initiative execution
- Gather regional insights, monitor key performance indicators, and report results to internal stakeholders
- Oversee community health metrics, moderator retention, and coverage across priority markets
Requirements
- Possess five to seven years of experience in community management or marketing operations
- Include at least one to two years of leadership experience with a track record of driving community growth
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Reddit, its identity, and the importance of moderators
- Be based in the United Kingdom
