Job Description
Nebius develops a full-stack AI cloud platform designed to support developers and enterprises throughout the AI lifecycle, ranging from data processing and model training to production deployment. Listed on Nasdaq and operating with a global footprint, the company features R&D hubs across North America, Europe, the UK, and Israel, and maintains a workforce of over 1,500 professionals.
This position sits inside the Nebius Token Factory division, which functions as a serverless platform dedicated to running and customizing open-source large language models in production environments. The group provides serverless inference and fine-tuning backed by specialized optimizations including custom speculative decoding, cache-aware routing, quantization, and dedicated endpoints.
As the Manager of ML Solutions Architecture for the European region, the successful candidate will lead a team of eight Solutions Architects with projected team growth. The role involves managing performance, providing coaching, onboarding new personnel, and handling account allocations based on individual strengths and interests. The manager maintains accountability for delivery outcomes—such as the duration from proof-of-concept initiation to fully optimized dedicated endpoints—while overseeing technical workflows, managing escalation coverage across multiple timezones, and collaborating closely with development, product, and business units.
This opportunity suits an experienced technical leader with a strong foundation in machine learning and inference internals who enjoys operational ownership, process refinement, and direct customer engagement.
Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one sessions, goal setting, performance reviews, promotion assessments, and individual growth planning
- Allocate accounts and customer engagements based on individual team member expertise and preferences
- Surface blockers early and coordinate with development, product, and business groups to resolve them
- Hold team members accountable for delivered results and link evaluations to ratings and compensation
- Onboard new hires through their initial independently executed customer engagement
- Oversee technical deliverables before client delivery, including benchmarks, serving configurations, and closure documents
- Maintain and extend operational documentation, runbooks, guides, and engagement templates
- Translate recurring customer feedback into prioritized platform requirements for development and research teams
- Collaborate with pre-sales and account management teams to support scoping and operational handoffs
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing technical teams, including performance management
- Background in leading customer-facing technical teams operating on customer timelines
- Deep machine learning knowledge covering LLM architectures, fine-tuning approaches, evaluation design, and inference internals
- Familiarity with frameworks such as vLLM, SGLang, and TensorRT-LLM
- Python programming proficiency sufficient to read and review team code
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Comfort operating with ambiguity across distributed teams and time zones
Qualifications
- References from former managers and direct reports
- Experience scaling a team through rapid growth from 5 to 15 or more members without reducing delivery quality
- Prior background in customer-facing technical functions at a cloud, inference, or AI infrastructure provider
- Experience defining processes and documentation for previously unstructured teams
- Hands-on background executing LLMs in production and debugging inference workloads at the framework level
- Experience working with multimodal AI models including vision-language and speech
- Proficiency with DevOps tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code
