This on-site Manager, Product Design role in Hyderabad leads a small group of 3 to 5 designers working on enterprise workplace productivity and analytics products. The manager guides the UX direction from planning through execution, working alongside product management, user research and engineering.
Responsibilities include reviewing mockups, prototypes and behavior specifications, and maintaining the company design system. Travel of up to 20 percent of the year may be required.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of 3 to 5 designers
- Guide UX ideation and roadmap execution with product management
- Oversee mockups, prototypes and behavior specifications for mobile and desktop
- Contribute to the design system and to documentation such as UX specifications
Requirements
- 3+ years managing people or leading design teams
- 10+ years of UX or interaction design experience
- Strong information architecture skills
- A portfolio of design work samples
Qualifications
- Expertise in one or more enterprise areas such as IT security, IT operations, customer service or finance
- Experience designing to WCAG 2.0 or 2.1 AA guidelines (plus)
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS (preferred)
