Spotify is hiring a Manager, Proposition Strategy to join its Propositions team in New York or London. This hybrid role allows professionals to balance work between home and in-person meetings. The person in this position will help shape how hundreds of millions of users experience and pay for Spotify by developing affordable local propositions, updating current tiers, and identifying sustainable growth opportunities.

Spotify offers a flexible work environment along with comprehensive compensation. The United States base salary range for this position is $147,133 to $210,191, plus equity. Available benefits include health insurance, a six-month paid parental leave, a 401(k) retirement plan, a monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, paid flexible holidays, and paid sick leave.
Responsibilities
- Develop new propositions and evolve existing subscription tiers using commercial insights and local market realities
- Manage initiatives from initial hypothesis through to executive recommendations
- Perform opportunity sizing, unit economics, margin and licensing analysis, and cannibalization modeling
- Build and stress-test business cases accounting for licensing structures, local market dynamics, currency factors, and subscriber economics
- Quantify potential cannibalization across existing tiers and revenue streams
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, Legal, Strategy, and Market teams to align on recommendations
- Track competitive, consumer, and macroeconomic trends to update the proposition roadmap
- Synthesize complex analysis into clear choices for senior leadership decision-making
Requirements
- Experience in product strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or a related field
- Track record of transforming ambiguous questions into structured recommendations
- Proficiency in building and owning complex financial models including unit economics, margin analysis, scenario modeling, and cannibalization frameworks
- Understanding of high-growth consumer market dynamics with multi-market or geographic exposure
- Ability to communicate complex commercial trade-offs to senior audiences
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to build alignment and challenge assumptions constructively
