Job Description

Huntress is a remote-first cybersecurity firm founded in 2015 that offers enterprise-level protection to organizations of every size. It develops its platform internally and runs a round-the-clock Security Operations Center staffed by human analysts. The company reports coverage of more than five million endpoints and sixteen million identities. This UK-based management role reports to the Director of the SOC.

The manager oversees a worldwide analyst group that investigates and contains incidents on partner networks at all hours. Priorities include reworking routines to ease burnout and raise output, managing shift rosters across regions, holding a weekly one-to-one with every analyst, and contributing to curricula covering forensics, response, malware work, detection, hunting and automation. The post also owns regional quality assurance, works with support and internal security groups on request workflows, and tracks objectives and key results tied to response-time commitments.

Applicants should bring at least five years as a security analyst inside a continuously staffed global operations center, with particular depth in Windows forensics. Two or more years in a lead or management role within operations or incident response is also required. Skill at leading mixed security teams, drawing process maps and writing playbooks, and making technical findings understandable to non-specialists is expected. Experience with managed security service providers, managed detection and response vendors or incident response services is advantageous.

Pay is a base of £94,500 to £115,000, with bonus and equity. Perks include a £398 home office setup grant for new joiners, a £92 monthly digital allowance, pension access, generous leave, trips to the United States once or twice a year for company gatherings, and BetterUp coaching access.

  • Partner with Product to prioritize tooling that expands what analysts can accomplish
  • Own regional quality assurance
  • Design support-to-SOC request workflows with Support staff
  • Write up and track OKRs tied to SOC programs

Requirements

  • At least five years as a security analyst in a round-the-clock global SOC, with Windows forensics expertise

  • Ability to translate workflows into process maps and standard operating procedures
  • Clear explanations of technical topics for mixed audiences
  • Track record of leading delegated, accountable projects
  • Data-driven habits and familiarity with data science concepts
