Figma is seeking a Manager for Tech and Ecosystem Partnerships to lead and scale a growing group of Partner Managers within its Business Development and Partnerships organization. In this full-time position, reporting to the Director of Product Partnerships, the chosen candidate will translate organizational strategies into actionable portfolio plans, guide a small team of three to five Partner Managers, and establish operational standards for complex technical alliances.
This role is tailored for a professional combining robust people leadership skills with product insight, operational discipline, and a proven history of managing intricate technology partnerships. Responsibilities involve steering portfolio health, collaborating with cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, legal, and finance departments, and stepping into high-impact partner negotiations when necessary. The position can be held from a US hub, including Austin, or remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and direct a team of three to five Partner Managers overseeing product portfolios and scaled partnership programs
- Partner with the Director of Product Partnerships to convert broad company strategies into clear portfolio targets and resource plans
- Oversee portfolio health and help team members prioritize high-value opportunities while navigating risks and operational roadblocks
- Coordinate with leaders across product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, research, operations, finance, and legal teams
- Track performance metrics, review milestones, and present executive business updates to partnerships leadership
- Act as an escalation point for complex negotiations and critical partner interactions while maintaining team ownership
- Scale the partnerships department by refining processes, establishing decision rights, and assisting with onboarding
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of partnership experience with a primary focus on product or ecosystem partnerships
- At least 3 years of direct people management experience building and coaching high-performing teams
- Track record of defining strategy, planning cross-functional projects, and executing alongside product and go-to-market teams
- Strong communication, structuring, and negotiation abilities for complex technical partnerships
- Technical depth with the ability to influence product roadmaps, strategy, and data-driven business recommendations
- Capacity to balance short-term operational demands with long-term strategic roadmaps

- Demonstrated experience creating and implementing product partnership strategies within enterprise SaaS companies
