Deloitte is seeking a Managing Director, Advisory Services Limited to direct deal origination, shape long-term strategy, and lead high-stakes transactions within the investment banking unit. The role involves building a robust pipeline of investment banking and advisory opportunities spanning capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and strategic advice. The Managing Director will oversee transactions from initial origination through final execution, ensuring that all activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal corporate governance policies. Additional responsibilities include representing the company in industry forums, developing innovative financial products, evaluating strategic risks, and providing market intelligence to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead deal origination across mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, restructuring, and strategic advisory
- Define and execute the long-term strategic vision aligned with the Group's growth objectives
- Manage senior-level client negotiations regarding transaction structures, pricing, funding strategies, and terms
- Approve client proposals, transaction documentation, investment memoranda, and closing materials
- Oversee the execution of major transactions to ensure timely delivery, compliance, and quality
- Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic, financial, operational, and reputational risks
- Maintain transparent reporting on transactions, risk exposures, and strategic initiatives to the GMD
- Represent the organization in industry forums, investor discussions, and high-profile engagements
Requirements
- 12 to 15 plus years of experience in corporate finance, financial advisory, or investment banking
- Demonstrated track record of leading high-value transactions and advisory mandates
- Proven experience managing senior teams, multi-disciplinary advisory functions, and high-stakes client engagements
- Strong expertise in strategic business development and client relationship management
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- Master degree in a relevant field
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIS, or equivalent
