The role covers powertrain-level simulation, debugging plant models and control software, and supporting thermal management strategies for battery electric vehicles. The work uses MATLAB and Simulink. The position is full-time and on-site for 1 to 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate vehicle energy flow and efficiency models in SiL
- Run vehicle-level powertrain and energy management simulations
- Analyze and troubleshoot plant model and control software issues
- Support BEV thermal management strategies such as heat pump systems
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Understanding of automotive thermal management for BEV and HEV, including refrigeration and battery thermal management
- Hands-on vehicle simulation experience in the powertrain domain
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink
Qualifications
- B.E or B.Tech degree
- Basic to intermediate scripting in MATLAB or Python
- Experience with SiL and model-based development is preferred
