TripActions is hiring a Navan Pro Consultant for a full-time, remote position. This role centers on delivering high-touch, personalized service to clients to minimize travel expenses and maximize efficiency. Individuals in this capacity will manage dedicated client portfolios, build professional relationships, and offer consultative travel solutions.
The position is well-suited for professionals experienced in corporate travel management who possess strong communication abilities and a deep understanding of industry booking platforms. Consultants will handle various travel reservations, including air, rail, car rental, ferry, and charter services, while ensuring adherence to client guidelines and achieving set service level agreements.
TripActions utilizes an AI-assisted automated employment decision tool to help evaluate resumes, though human recruiters and hiring managers make all final employment decisions. Candidates who prefer an evaluation without AI assistance may request a human review.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full client portfolio by delivering dedicated customer service and maintaining internal and external relationships
- Handle all air, rail, car rental, ferry, black car, and charter bookings while advising clients on best practices using R&M and Navan technology
- Procure optimal hotel rates through GDS and non-GDS channels and leverage supplier relationships
- Monitor active bookings continuously for additional savings opportunities up until trip completion
- Apply various ticketing methods and fare types while staying updated on industry innovations like airline direct connect
- Collaborate with the International Fares Desk to identify local and cross-market inventory differences
- Ensure compliance with client policies and guidelines to enhance the traveler experience
- Provide first-line support for online and offline mixed-mode booking tools
- Apply quality control procedures in line with company and GREC requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a core business travel environment
- Proficiency with one or more GDS systems including Sabre, Galileo, and Amadeus
- Familiarity with mixed-mode booking tools and first-line product support for online and offline bookings
- Comprehensive knowledge of travel industry products, market conditions, aircraft types, cabins, and Low-Cost Carriers
- Conversancy with various booking systems for rail, black car, LCCs, and OTAs
- Experience using Microsoft software packages
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and make effective use of available resources
- Exceptional telephone manner, written communication skills, and attention to detail
- Willingness to independently commit to and complete relevant training
Qualifications
- Previous VIP customer service experience
