Job Description

Ebury is hiring a KYC Onboarding Analyst for its Ebury Institutional Solutions (EIS) vertical in Nicosia. The role is hybrid, with four days in the office and one day working from home. It sits within Ebury's onboarding function and focuses on checking corporate clients before they are accepted.

The analyst will run CDD and EDD reviews (standard and enhanced due diligence) on corporate clients such as trust and corporate service firms, MiFID-regulated clients, fund vehicles and SPVs. The work involves working through intricate ownership setups, company accounts and transaction behaviour, identifying red flags and making risk-based decisions on whether to onboard or reject an application. The analyst also stays in direct contact with clients to explain Ebury's onboarding requirements, chases clients and sales colleagues, documents files in a structured format and manages a caseload of their own onboarding files. Other duties include safeguarding Ebury and its clients from financial crime risks such as money laundering, sanctions risk and fraud, and supporting training and checking colleagues' work.

The posting asks for at least two years of CDD and EDD experience with corporate clients, professional-level English in writing and speech, and an understanding of complex entities such as funds and limited partnerships. Familiarity with warning signs and the typical patterns of financial crime across payments, FX and institutional work is needed. The candidate should be organised, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a multi-jurisdictional, fast-paced setting. Experience talking directly with clients in finance is a plus.
