Smartsheet develops work management solutions and is currently integrating human teams with artificial intelligence agents. The organization is hiring a Partner Operations Data Analyst on a full-time, remote basis for candidates residing in Costa Rica. This role reports to the Head of Partner Programs and Operations located in the United States.

This position focuses on establishing governance standards, managing data flows into Salesforce, and supporting artificial intelligence initiatives such as Claude to assist Partner Account Managers. Responsibilities involve maintaining partner attribution accuracy, ensuring pipeline health, managing commission validations, handling annual tiering evaluations, and executing data cleanups.

The ideal candidate possesses hands-on operational background within software-as-a-service settings, strong data analysis abilities, and familiarity with customer relationship management systems. This long-term position shapes how leadership tracks revenue and assists Partner Sales in proactive management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage partner attribution logic, data quality, and cross-system reconciliation across Salesforce and external partner portals
  • Validate partner opportunity data, deal registrations, and bookings results to ensure proper pipeline tracking
  • Design and execute data cleanups for account, opportunity, and territory records while establishing governance standards
  • Collaborate with the Systems team regarding field-level access governance for partner information
  • Define, document, and administer active status logic, annual tiering updates, and partner data dictionaries
  • Maintain audit trails and change logs for record modifications
  • Design partner data flows into Salesforce as the central system of record
  • Contribute to building artificial intelligence tooling, such as Claude, for partner dashboards and forecasting
  • Calculate and validate partner commissions, payouts, and end-of-year rebates in coordination with Finance
  • Produce structured quarterly tier-progression reporting for internal stakeholders and partners
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for reporting enhancements and support territory management changes

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in partner operations, channel operations, revenue operations, or sales operations
  • Practical, hands-on experience handling large datasets, structuring information, and building analytical models
  • Working background in a software-as-a-service company navigating customer relationship management metrics and multi-tier segmentation
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for cross-system validation
  • Reside within Costa Rica for remote work eligibility

Qualifications

  • Prior background working with channel programs, tiering structures, deal registration, or market development funds
  • Competency in analyzing attribution across marketing campaigns, referrals, and market development funds
  • Experience managing sensitive financial information like commissions and payouts
