Job Description
The Partner Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position in Austin within Wise Platform. It owns the operational strategy and day-to-day execution for a portfolio of banking and fintech partners that deliver payment solutions through the platform. The aim is to keep partners operationally stable, to improve how payment solutions are delivered, and to help partners grow. The role works working alongside Account Management, which holds the strategic relationship.
The focus is on volume retention and operational performance across enterprise platform partners. Responsibilities include analysing operational performance, removing straightforward processing friction, and acting as the final escalation point for operational concerns. The manager spots recurring friction patterns, runs business reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews, and sets success plans tied to transfer success, contact rates and customer satisfaction. During service disruptions, the manager leads the response, liaises between partners and internal teams, and drives fixes for root causes that affect wider operations, not only the partner involved.
The role also passes partner needs into product roadmaps and encourages partners to adopt endpoints and webhooks so that their support teams can be automated. Quality of servicing is reviewed through partner and end-user feedback, and the manager identifies key improvement areas. The posting seeks at least five years in fintech or banking, including work with enterprise clients or large payments businesses, and deep knowledge of cross-border payments and API-based implementation. Being data-driven and able to influence senior executives are central requirements.
