Job Description
ServiceNow presents its platform as a central control point for putting AI to work, linking AI models, data and business workflows. This Partner Technology Architect acts as the lead strategic contact for one regional managed partner, supporting its growth through pre-sales technical work, business building, solution planning and adoption of AI-first technology.
The role is pooled, meaning the architect is pulled in on request through an intake form. Engagements may be planned, such as partner enablement or joint business planning, or reactive, such as a specific request or a technical gap on the partner's side. Most work falls outside the current quarter, though in-quarter deals are considered in some cases.
Key tasks include leading joint business planning, advising partners on practice growth and AI-enabled offerings, shaping offer-based solutions, guiding technical discovery and executive briefings, and running partner-led proofs of concept. The architect also escalates technical needs on high-stakes deals and coordinates colleagues to deliver one coherent experience.
Performance is judged on partner practice maturity, pipeline influence, partner self-sufficiency, win rates, thought leadership and partner satisfaction. The role requires seven or more years in pre-sales consulting or sales engineering, familiarity with ServiceNow or cloud software, and experience working with product, marketing and professional services teams.
