Natera is seeking a remote Patient Coordinator to act as the primary point of contact and advocate for individuals undergoing organ health genetic testing. In this full-time position, you will help patients navigate single or recurring testing journeys by managing logistics, setting clear expectations, and building trusting relationships. Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA testing specializing in oncology, women's health, and organ health, with a mission to make personalized diagnostics a standard part of medical care.
This role suits individuals with a background in call centers, patient services, healthcare customer support, or sales, who possess genuine empathy and strong active listening abilities. Team members handle protected health information and are required to strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and privacy policies. The position involves participating in a rotating weekend on-call schedule to manage urgent patient needs, responding to marketing leads, conducting outbound outreach, and escalating complex issues to cross-functional partners like the sales and billing teams.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated advocate and main point of contact for individuals undergoing Organ Health testing
- Assess client needs regarding customer support, logistical coordination, and problem resolution
- Explain sample collection schedules, turnaround times, and billing expectations
- Handle marketing leads and perform outbound outreach for identification and monitoring programs
- Escalate complex matters to billing, sales, customer experience, and other internal teams
- Participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule to handle urgent needs
- Nurture relationships to schedule ongoing testing and address internal data and analysis requests
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA standards and verify patient identities on every interaction
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a call center handling inbound and outbound contacts, patient services, or healthcare customer support
- At least two years of sales experience
- Ability to complete HIPAA, privacy, compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire
- Comfort using multiple systems simultaneously
