Job Description
Bosch is currently hiring a PCB Design Expert for an on-site position located in Bengaluru. This full-time role focuses on the creation and development of intricate, multi-layer printed circuit boards encompassing mixed-signal, analog, and high-speed digital architectures.
The chosen professional will work closely alongside software, mechanical, and electrical engineering colleagues to establish design parameters and achieve cohesive system integration. Key duties involve generating schematic captures, component footprints, and board layouts through professional software applications, alongside conducting thermal, power integrity, and signal integrity evaluations to guarantee functional durability.
Candidates will also be responsible for producing complete design documentation, guiding junior team members, collaborating with manufacturing vendors, and adhering to assembly and manufacturing guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-layer PCBs including analog, high-speed digital, and mixed-signal boards
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to define design needs and integration
- Create and manage schematic captures, PCB layouts, and component footprints using tools like Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, Cadence Allegro, and CR8000
- Conduct thermal, power integrity, and signal integrity analyses to guarantee reliability
- Develop and maintain fabrication drawings, bills of materials, and assembly drawings
- Ensure adherence to Design for Assembly and Design for Manufacturing principles alongside IPC standards
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff
- Communicate with assembly and fabrication vendors to address technical challenges
- Take part in design reviews and help improve design processes and standards

- Possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience
Qualifications
- Hold a BE, B-Tech, or ME degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related branches
