Bosch seeks a Semiconductor Application Engineer to focus on Automotive Radar and Ultrasonic Sensing in Bengaluru. This full-time position operates on-site and involves serving as a technical liaison between clients, product developers, and global groups to facilitate sensor integration and evaluation. The ideal candidate possesses a background in electronics and hardware-near software, paired with strong debugging capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with evaluating, integrating, and troubleshooting Radar and Ultrasonic sensor products
- Investigate and resolve hardware, software, and system challenges
- Conduct electrical testing, signal analysis, and validation procedures
- Serve as the technical connection connecting clients, application engineering, product creators, and local divisions
- Lead issue troubleshooting across global and cross-functional groups
Requirements
- Familiarity with analog hardware design at the PCB and system level
- Background in developing hardware-near embedded software
- Understanding of signal integrity concepts like interface behavior, timing, and slew rates
- Foundational knowledge of digital signal processing
- Proficiency in electrical measurement and troubleshooting using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Introductory knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety
- Effective presentation and communication abilities
- Client-focused attitude with an organized methodology for troubleshooting
- Capability to manage conflicts and harmonize stakeholder viewpoints
- Preparedness to operate within a global setting and partner directly with clients
Qualifications
- Degree in Physics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Background in automotive electronics, sensing technologies, or semiconductor applications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics
- Familiarity with electro-acoustics, ultrasonic transducers, and the piezoelectric effect
