The organization seeks a Performance Marketing Specialist, specifically a Senior Manager to oversee the dedicated Google Acquisition function. This position focuses on driving scalable customer acquisition for both personal and business banking lines. The person in this role will take charge of the complete Google performance channel, encompassing campaign architecture, technical infrastructure, economic modelling, and channel governance.

Technical duties involve overseeing Firebase, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and server-side tracking pipelines. Furthermore, the role requires establishing strict economic governance, diagnosing performance drifts, and adapting acquisition strategies to fit the realities of emerging markets.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute the complete Google channel strategy covering App Campaigns, Performance Max, and Search for consumer and business banking products
- Establish campaign structures tailored for dual-product funnels with distinct audience segments and bidding logic
- Manage campaign lifecycles entirely from initial brief to launch, optimization, and reporting
- Build and maintain the measurement stack including Firebase, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and server-side event pipelines
- Implement and maintain Conversion APIs and enhanced conversions to boost data signal quality
- Define attribution models and collaborate with engineering and data teams to verify event data accuracy
- Create the economic model for Google acquisition, setting customer acquisition cost targets and payback period models
- Diagnose cost and retention metrics alongside data science to feed offline conversion data into Google systems
- Establish reporting workflows and review cadences that communicate performance clearly to senior stakeholders
- Adapt strategies to address emerging market constraints such as variable device penetration and trust barriers
Requirements
- Over six years of hands-on paid acquisition experience with a primary focus on Google UAC and App Campaigns at scale
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of campaign infrastructure including bidding algorithms, audience signals, and Smart Bidding mechanics
- Proven background in architecting and owning measurement stacks including Firebase, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Conversion APIs
- Fluency in lifetime value and customer acquisition cost modeling, assumptions management, and budgeting decisions
- Professional background in a fintech or financial services environment with direct knowledge of compliance and trust dynamics
Qualifications
- Experience running Google acquisition campaigns in Sub-Saharan Africa or comparable emerging markets, with Nigeria specifically being an advantage
- Familiarity with server-side conversion APIs, offline conversion imports, and enhanced conversions
- Experience collaborating with data science or analytics teams to develop custom bidding signals and offline lifetime value imports
- Prior work managing dual-product or dual-segment acquisition with separate funnel logic
