Job Description
Allstate is recruiting professionals to build a personal financial services business that carries the Allstate name, in the role of Personal Financial Representative, also called Financial Specialist. The posting is aimed at people who already run a growing practice and want Allstate's brand, resources and leads to expand it in their community.
The role is built around partnerships with Allstate agency owners. A financial specialist may use desk space inside an agency owner's office and receive leads from that owner. Usually an agency office houses a single financial specialist, who sees clients in person with a group of licensed staff behind them. Allstate says its support covers product offerings and continued education, and that earnings are not capped and grow with the practice.
Allstate PFRs are independent contractors. They are not employees of Allstate Insurance Company or its affiliates, and they are not franchisees. Engagement falls under the Allstate PFR agreements. The posting names life and health insurance licenses as required, along with FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses where applicable, and notes that selling investment advisory services would also need Series 65, or Series 7 and 66.
