Job Description
Kuda is recruiting a Portfolio Analysis and Reporting Lead to manage and reduce risk while keeping the bank inside its appetite for risk. The post seeks to shield the bank from heavy losses that stem from flawed strategy, weak execution or slow adaptation to changing markets, so that returns stay stable and positive.
The lead studies the loan book, asset quality, liquidity and capital, and measures how major loans influence capital, profit and concentration. Regulatory and internal limits are monitored, and risk reporting goes to the MRC and BRMC so they see material exposures. The role also supplies figures for rating agencies, outside parties and investor relations, drafts the portfolio plan from the budget proposal, and produces the capital adequacy ratio report for the CBN, IFRS 9 expected credit loss computations, and ECL movement schedules for the CBN, NDIC and auditors.
Further tasks are monthly sector distribution and limit reporting, stress testing and scenario analysis for internal and regulatory needs, and upkeep of the collateral register. The posting asks for a first degree in a numerate field such as accounting, statistics, economics or maths, plus at least eight years in the field, ideally audit or banking, and strong skills in financial modelling, credit risk, stress testing and tools like Excel or Power BI. The role is full-time and on-site with a hybrid in-office pattern. No salary is given.
