The position suits experienced portfolio advisers with deep knowledge of multi-asset solutions and the needs of high-net-worth families. The work is sophisticated advisory, including complicated arrangements such as succession planning, tax efficiency and strategies that span several legal entities.
The specialist designs bespoke portfolios that combine mutual funds, portfolio management services, alternative investment funds, bonds and structured or global products. Existing portfolios are reviewed and reworked to fix gaps in allocation, fund selection and capital deployment. For ultra-high-net-worth clients, the specialist applies advanced thinking on cash flow planning, wealth preservation, estate planning and tax subtleties. Client portfolios are monitored on an ongoing basis, with rebalancing recommended as conditions change. The specialist also acts as a sounding board for relationship teams handling large or intricate clients.
Candidates need at least three years of wealth advisory work for ultra-high-net-worth or family office clients, a firm handle on tax and regulatory rules, global funds and structured products, and consultative, highly engaging client skills. Responsibilities
- Advise on custom portfolios that combine MF, PMS, AIF, bond and structured or global products
- Review and rebuild existing portfolios to close allocation and selection gaps
- Provide advanced planning for UHNI clients covering cash flow, preservation, estate and tax
- Track client portfolios and recommend rebalancing
- Support relationship teams on complex or large accounts
