Bosch seeks a Practice Head for Cloud and Custom App Development and D365 in Bengaluru. This on-site position requires a seasoned professional to guide the strategic vision, oversee operations, and direct the execution of enterprise-wide application development, cloud solutions, and Microsoft D365 platforms.
The role involves managing project delivery, mitigating technical and operational risks, driving cost efficiency, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The candidate will collaborate with business partners to support expansion strategies, work alongside service delivery heads to ensure timely project execution, and foster innovation in emerging technology areas. Ideal candidates possess a strong background in IT services, global delivery experience, and a track record of scaling teams within agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic direction, management, and implementation of enterprise application development, cloud services, and Microsoft D365 platforms
- Oversee ongoing project and program delivery while managing progress, quality, risks, and corrective actions
- Deliver IT solutions aligned with ITIL, DevOps, SDLC, Agile, PMI, PCI, and security best practices
- Manage organizational design, strategic hiring, performance, compensation, and team capability development
- Drive cost efficiency, maximize business unit throughput and productivity, and promote an inclusive culture
- Achieve high customer satisfaction levels through formal and informal feedback mechanisms
- Mitigate technical, operational, and customer service risks
- Collaborate with business partners to forecast and support business growth
- Coordinate with service delivery heads and project managers to execute timely deliverables
- Drive innovation and solution mindsets in new technology areas
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in a similar IT services or software industry role
- Prior experience in an end-to-end IT delivery role encompassing custom application development, verification and validation, and cloud services
- Mandatory experience in Microsoft programs and technologies
- Global delivery experience involving multi-geography customers
- Demonstrated project management experience, preferably using Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- MBA or B.E degree, with an MBA in General Management acting as an additional advantage
- Engineering degree from a premium institute
- Prior experience managing Microsoft technology practices, HCM, or testing practices
- Experience managing cloud platforms including AWS and Azure
- Project management certifications such as PMP or Agile credentials
- Familiarity with AI and Gen AI technologies
