ZoomInfo Technologies LLC is seeking a Principal Applied AI Engineer to join the Core and Global Data organization, focusing on entity agents within the Core Data team. ZoomInfo provides an all-in-one Go-To-Market Intelligence Platform powered by AI-ready insights and B2B data, supporting over 35,000 corporate clients globally. In this role, you will help transition the company's data management to AI-native processes where autonomous agents evaluate evidence and manage attributes at production volume.
You will complete the entity-agent pipeline, build unified evidence adapters with replayable stores and kill switches, automate evaluation schedules and benchmarks, deploy agents onto the ZoomInfo Agentic Platform, and create self-service tooling for product managers and researchers. This position suits an experienced engineer with a strong bias for action who excels at taking prototypes to production, implementing instrumentation, and building robust internal platforms.

Responsibilities
- Run benchmark and golden-gate systems on a schedule against staging to gate agent versions automatically
- Complete the entity-agent pipeline by building missing stages such as enricher fan-out, location sets, and hierarchy batch files
- Build evidence adapters for registries, live web, mail-tenant signals, and external research vendors behind a single envelope
- Deploy company and contact agents onto the ZoomInfo Agentic Platform while maintaining rollback paths
- Build self-service tooling including review queues, tagging tools, blast-radius viewers, and batch runners for researchers and product managers
- Maintain the health and deployment of company and contact classifiers, the agents hub, and the judge platform
- Instrument systems to track cost per call, row, and stage, along with version quality and proactive alerts
Requirements
- Five or more years of software engineering experience
- At least two years of experience shipping LLM-based systems to production, including agent loops, tool use, retrieval, structured output, and evaluation harnesses
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript across API layers, batch runners, and internal user web UIs
- Experience building platforms designed for replay, idempotency, and observability
- Working knowledge of data pipelines and entity resolution concepts
Qualifications
- Experience with B2B company or contact data, identity or registry data, or large-scale entity resolution
- Familiarity with Claude or comparable frontier models, agent frameworks, and evaluation harnesses
- Experience deploying agents onto internal agent platforms or orchestration layers
- Background working at an AI-native startup, a forward-deployed or applied AI team, or a data infrastructure company
