This full-time position is offered on a remote basis, though it does require travel within the United States. It suits an experienced SAP professional who can take charge of designing comprehensive analytics strategies, guiding technical deployments, and managing application teams.
In this capacity, the person chosen will shape the analytics roadmap, establish migration pathways to SAP Analytics Cloud, and bridge the gap between technical execution and business requirements. Key responsibilities span designing planning models, building complex logic, managing data extractions, and providing hands-on support through all stages of project lifecycles. Candidates will interface directly with business leaders across units like finance and human resources to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities
- Formulate the SAP Analytics strategy and roadmap, including migrating legacy systems to SAP Analytics Cloud
- Oversee the rollout of SAP BI and BW solutions, concentrating on BW on HANA, SAC, and SAP Datasphere
- Connect SAC with platforms such as SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA
- Create and construct financial and operational SAC planning models featuring hierarchies, time dimensions, and versions
- Construct planning logic utilizing Advanced Formulas, Data Actions, Multi Actions, allocations, and driver-based planning
- Engage in all phases of SAP BI/BW and S/4HANA initiatives, from requirements gathering through testing and post go-live support
- Architect and control SAP HANA data extraction procedures from SAP ECC, SAP BW, and external systems
- Partner with internal business stakeholders in areas like Finance and HR to gather requirements and share insights
- Lead and mentor IT analytics application personnel to maintain a collaborative workspace
- Coordinate with IT and business executives to align analytics strategies with organizational goals
Requirements
- At least 10 years of total experience working with SAP
- Expert level proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Expert level skill in SAC Reporting and SAC Application Design
- Expert level capability in SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Data Sphere BDC
- Demonstrated background as an SAP Analytics team lead or solution architect
- Completion of multiple end-to-end SAP analytics implementations
- Solid understanding of core SAP line-of-business processes including OTC, PTP, and RTR
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field
