The group develops the core ML capabilities that let apps, employees, and AI agents understand a customer's history and pick the best way to reach them. The principal engineer drives quick research cycles on context-aware intelligence and big-data ML problems, transforms vague notions into disciplined experiments, and designs production systems sized for Twilio's traffic.

- Expert know-how in designing, shipping, and running production ML and AI stacks, including LLM orchestration, embeddings, and vector stores
- Solid theory in statistical ML, transformer models, and LLMs
- Skill at lifting team capability through mentoring, design critiques, and shared standards
- Strong communication and teamwork
Qualifications
- Experience creating autonomous agents for multi-turn conversations that keep context over time
- Expertise in modeling user behavior, including causal methods suited to partial randomization
- Experience on a worldwide distributed team
