Ryz Labs seeks a Principal Machine Learning Engineer for the core engineering group at one of its overseas clients. The position is remote and full-time, and applications are limited to candidates living in Latin America (LATAM).
This role sits at the crossroads of live systems, practical AI and engineering rigor. The engineer would run AI models in production at scale, keeping an eye on output quality, model drift, response time and cost. The job also involves designing event-based microservices in Python, Go or TypeScript and setting up the automation that builds and ships them.
Governance and safety are a central part of the work. Expected tasks include shaping which actions AI agents may take, adding people into automated workflows where needed, enforcing data separation, and defending systems against prompt injection. - Working fluency with Docker, AWS, GCP or Azure, and automated CI/CD
- Grasp of LLM safety risk, threat modeling, data boundaries and agent security
- Fluent English, with the ability to make technical trade-offs clear to non-technical listeners
Qualifications
- Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI or MCP
- Prior time in consulting or advisory work, or at scaling technology companies
