Job Description
Elastic Security is seeking a Principal Product Manager to serve as the product voice for its most strategic enterprise customers. The job is full-time and remote-first, listed for the United States, with expected travel of up to 50 percent.
The person in this role manages the stream of enhancement requests coming from large enterprise customers. The aim is to organize that flow: sort stated wants from real needs, prioritize with judgment and data, and keep requests moving toward a decision.
Recurring issues across accounts become product direction that shapes the core roadmaps. Some patterns are formalized as design partnerships, and the product manager checks that the resulting capabilities help the broader market rather than only the account that asked first.
The role is the primary product voice in discussions with CISOs, CTOs and VPs of Security Operations. The product manager explains roadmap changes, including deprioritizations and misses, and works through tension between customer contracts and the internal plan directly instead of escalating routinely.
Partners include Legal, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Product. The product manager supports RFPs, security questionnaires and prospect roadmap presentations, and produces roadmap trackers and decision memos that keep stakeholders informed.
Applicants should have 7 to 10 years in product management, including at least four years in B2B enterprise software, and a practitioner background in security operations is a strong advantage. The typical starting base range is EUR 104,800 to 165,700, with no variable component.
Responsibilities
- Manage the request pipeline for enhancements across several strategic enterprise accounts
- Build a structured tracker for customer-sourced requirements and keep answers moving
- Convert input from many accounts into one coherent product direction

- Advocate for customer needs while keeping the broader market in view
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of product management, including at least four years in enterprise B2B software
- Hands-on track record with named strategic accounts
- Hands-on background with SIEM, SOAR, XDR or wider security operations platforms
- Prior experience running an enhancement pipeline for several enterprise accounts simultaneously
- Executive presence in front of C-suite and vice-president level customers
Qualifications
- Experience with hyperscalers, MSSPs or the public sector
- Earlier career in security practice, for example SOC work, incident response, detection engineering or security architecture
Core Skills

- Pay set by the work performed rather than by prior salary

- Generous yearly vacation allowance

- Volunteer time of up to 40 hours a year for causes the employee chooses
