They sort it, separate what a client says it wants from what it actually needs, and convert it into one clear product direction spanning several product areas.
The product manager tracks requests across many customers at the same time, scores them using opportunity sizing, RICE and weighted scoring models, and keeps each item moving rather than letting it stall. Where the data is thin, judgment fills the gap, and the team is expected to be open about which basis was used.
Patterns that emerge across accounts are shaped into formal design partnerships where useful, and the resulting capabilities are meant to serve the broader market, not only the original requester. Validated patterns flow back into the core roadmaps. The role also supports sales cycles through RFP answers, security questionnaires and prospect roadmap briefings.
Coordination spans Legal, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Product. The product manager gives roadmap updates, misses and deprioritizations to CISOs, CTOs and VPs of Security Operations, and handles conflicts between contract commitments and the internal plan directly.

Responsibilities
- Manage the request pipeline for enhancements across several strategic enterprise accounts
- Build a structured tracker for customer-sourced requirements and keep answers moving
- Convert input from many accounts into one coherent product direction
- Push validated customer patterns into core roadmaps
- Rank requests using opportunity sizing, RICE and weighted scoring
- Assist with RFP answers, security questionnaires and prospect roadmap briefings
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of product management, including at least four years in enterprise B2B software
- Hands-on track record with named strategic accounts
- Hands-on background with SIEM, SOAR, XDR or wider security operations platforms
- Prior experience running an enhancement pipeline for several enterprise accounts simultaneously
- Executive presence in front of C-suite and vice-president level customers
Qualifications
- Experience with hyperscalers, MSSPs or the public sector
- Earlier career in security practice, for example SOC work, incident response, detection engineering or security architecture
