Job Description
Elastic Security is seeking a Principal Product Manager who will hold the relationship between the product organization and its most important enterprise customers. The role is full-time, remote-first, and based in the United States, with up to 50 percent travel.
The product manager runs a structured system for tracking, ranking and replying to enhancement requests from many enterprise customers. The goal is to keep requests advancing through the process rather than leaving them parked in a consideration state.
Prioritization relies on frameworks including opportunity sizing, RICE and weighted scoring. Data is used where it exists and judgment where it does not, and the product manager is transparent about which basis drove each call. Requirements must be clear enough for engineering leads to act without repeated clarification sessions.
The role represents the product team to senior customers, including CISOs, CTOs and VPs of Security Operations. It explains roadmap changes, including deprioritizations and misses, and works through friction between contract terms and the internal plan head-on, avoiding routine escalation.
Partners include Legal, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Product. The product manager supports RFPs, security questionnaires and prospect roadmap presentations, and resists letting the largest customer steer the roadmap at the cost of the wider market.
Applicants should have 7 to 10 years in product management, including at least four years in B2B enterprise software, and a track record managing customer requests at scale. The typical starting base range is EUR 73,300 to 115,900, with no variable component.
Responsibilities
- Manage the request pipeline for enhancements across several strategic enterprise accounts
- Build a structured tracker for customer-sourced requirements and keep answers moving
- Convert input from many accounts into one coherent product direction
- Push validated customer patterns into core roadmaps
- Balance customer demand against the broader market when setting priorities
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of product management, including at least four years in enterprise B2B software
- Hands-on track record with named strategic accounts
- Hands-on background with SIEM, SOAR, XDR or wider security operations platforms
- Prior experience running an enhancement pipeline for several enterprise accounts simultaneously
Qualifications
- Experience with hyperscalers, MSSPs or the public sector
- Earlier career in security practice, for example SOC work, incident response, detection engineering or security architecture
Core Skills
Benefits
- Pay set by the work performed rather than by prior salary
- Health coverage that reaches families in many regions

- Generous yearly vacation allowance
- Matching of donations and volunteer effort up to $2,000 (or local equivalent)
- Volunteer time of up to 40 hours a year for causes the employee chooses
