Job Description
Elastic is recruiting a Principal Product Manager who will serve as the voice of Elastic Security's largest enterprise accounts. The post is full-time and remote-first, based in the United States, and includes travel of up to half the time for key customer work.
Much of the work is organizing demand. Enhancement requests from many large customers arrive continuously, and the product manager is responsible for tracking them, ranking them, and replying to customers so nothing goes stale.
The role looks for patterns that repeat across accounts. Some lead to design partnerships, aimed at capabilities that reach the wider market instead of serving one buyer. Proven patterns feed back into the core roadmaps for Elastic Security.
Decisions combine structured scoring with judgment. Tools named in the posting include opportunity sizing, RICE and weighted scoring, and the product manager is expected to state plainly when a call depends on limited data.
The job serves as the main product contact for CISOs, CTOs and VPs of Security Operations, and supports deals through security questionnaires, RFP answers and roadmap presentations. Work crosses Legal, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Product.
Applicants need 7 to 10 years in product management, at least four years of it in B2B enterprise software, and direct experience with named strategic accounts. The typical starting base range is EUR 80,400 to 127,200, with no variable compensation component.
Responsibilities
- Manage the request pipeline for enhancements across several strategic enterprise accounts
- Build a structured tracker for customer-sourced requirements and keep answers moving
- Convert input from many accounts into one coherent product direction

Requirements
- Hands-on track record with named strategic accounts
- Hands-on background with SIEM, SOAR, XDR or wider security operations platforms
- Prior experience running an enhancement pipeline for several enterprise accounts simultaneously
- Executive presence in front of C-suite and vice-president level customers
Qualifications
- Experience with hyperscalers, MSSPs or the public sector
Core Skills
Benefits
- Pay set by the work performed rather than by prior salary

- Volunteer time of up to 40 hours a year for causes the employee chooses
