Job Description
This Principal Product Manager role sits within Elastic Security's product group and focuses on its largest enterprise customers. The job is full-time, remote-first, and listed for the United States, with frequent travel expected for executive and design-partner sessions.
The person in this job manages requests arriving from many enterprise customers at once. The task is to keep that intake organized, decide what matters most using a mix of data and judgment, and make sure each request keeps advancing toward a decision.
Individual requests are only the starting point. The product manager spots common problems across accounts, turns some of them into formal design partnerships, and checks that the outcome helps the wider market. Validated patterns return to the core roadmaps, so influence extends well past the accounts directly covered.
Executive communication is central. The product manager is the main product contact for CISOs, CTOs and VPs of Security Operations, presenting roadmap changes that include deprioritized items and missed targets. Friction between a customer's contract and the roadmap is confronted directly.
Daily collaboration includes Legal, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Product. The role contributes to RFP answers, security questionnaires and roadmap briefings for prospects, and produces trackers, dashboards and decision memos so stakeholders can follow progress without extra meetings.
Applicants should have 7 to 10 years of product experience, at least four years of it in enterprise B2B software, plus hands-on work with SIEM, SOAR, XDR or similar platforms. A background as a practitioner, for example in SOC work or detection engineering, is a strong advantage. The typical starting base range is CAD 154,000 to 243,600, and the role is eligible for the stock program.
