Job Description
Elastic Security wants a Principal Product Manager to steer XDR together with the exposure and vulnerability work merging into it. The job is full-time and remote, and it is listed for the United States.
XDR sits at the center of the role, starting with detection and response and continuing into the exposure work now converging with it. Exposure and vulnerability management represents the principal expansion. Attack surface and cloud posture count as signals that refine prioritization instead of separate products.
A large share of the job is making decisions visible. The product manager builds decision memos, competitive briefs and roadmap trackers so customers and colleagues can see status and reasoning without waiting for a meeting.
The role works closely with engineering leads and the Elastic Security Labs team to turn threat research into detection and exposure scoring. It also coordinates with the Entity Analytics group on asset criticality, and acts as the internal expert on rivals, including large vendors in security and MDR service firms.
Candidates should bring 7 to 10 years in product management, with at least four years in security or enterprise B2B software, and enough practical grounding in SIEM, EDR or security operations to speak with practitioners. The typical starting base range is CAD 154,000 to 243,600 and there is no variable pay. Stock program eligibility is listed, along with an RRSP match of up to six percent of eligible earnings.
