- Define long-term technical architecture and make build-versus-buy decisions

- Write production-grade code across Kubernetes, Python, Golang and Postgres
- Mentor senior engineers and promote engineering standards
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including Principal or Senior Staff roles at a high-growth tech company or AI lab
- Proven experience with distributed systems covering performance, scalability and latency
- Ability to link engineering decisions to business outcomes
Qualifications
- Experience integrating or evaluating AI tools in engineering workflows
- Open source contributions to AI or infrastructure projects (nice to have)
- Prior work with product and growth teams in an early-stage startup (nice to have)
