Responsibilities
- Define and own the architecture of the server-rendered web component platform
- Own rendering performance, including server-side rendering, streaming HTML and hydration correctness
- Design a secure, scalable runtime on Kubernetes with sandboxed execution and multi-tenant isolation
- Shape the component model, data APIs and design system that many teams build on
Requirements
- Fifteen or more years of software engineering, focused on frontend or web platform work
- Deep expertise in Web Components, Shadow DOM, server-side rendering and hydration
- Production experience with Lit.js, React or comparable frameworks and server-side JavaScript or TypeScript
Qualifications
- Experience running latency-sensitive services on Kubernetes, including Helm and observability
- Shipped AI-driven user experiences and understanding of agent orchestration and tool-calling protocols
- Prior work on distributed performance or large Node.js fleets is a plus
