Nebius, a Nasdaq-listed cloud infrastructure provider specializing in the global AI economy, seeks an experienced Principal Solutions Architect for the Middle East. The employer operates a full-stack AI cloud platform supporting developers and enterprises from data and model training to production deployment. Headquartered in Amsterdam with global R&D hubs, the company is growing a team of over 1,500 professionals.
This is a senior, high-impact position focused on guiding strategic customers through complex presales, large-scale machine learning workloads, and end-to-end solution ownership. The professional will act as a primary technical advisor to executive stakeholders, machine learning leaders, and platform teams across the Gulf region. Responsibilities involve shaping solution strategy, steering complex proofs of concept, influencing product direction, and ensuring the successful adoption of the Nebius AI Cloud platform.
Candidates may work remotely from the Middle East, with a preference for applicants based in the United Arab Emirates. Travel across the Middle East is required as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical presales and solution delivery for strategic and enterprise accounts from discovery to production readiness
- Advise senior customer stakeholders including chief technology officers and heads of machine learning
- Direct machine learning and artificial intelligence infrastructure alongside MLOps architectures encompassing large training and inference workloads
- Design and document reference architectures and Infrastructure-as-Code patterns using company technology
- Execute advanced proofs of concept, technical workshops, and executive presentations
- Partner with sales, product, engineering, and support teams to represent customer requirements and influence product roadmaps
- Support regional marketing initiatives such as conferences, hackathons, webinars, and case studies
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to other solutions architects
Requirements
- Ten or more years of experience in senior technical roles such as solutions architect or machine learning platform engineer with customer-facing duties
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, networking, storage, containers, and GPU-accelerated computing
- Understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning infrastructure, model training, and inference environments
- Experience working with enterprise clients across Gulf Cooperation Council countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman
- Familiarity with the regional technology ecosystem and procurement processes
- Native or fluent Arabic language proficiency
- Professional English language proficiency
- Ability to travel across the Middle East as necessary
Qualifications
- Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers or artificial intelligence infrastructure firms
- Background supporting sovereign cloud, government, or regulated industry clients
- Knowledge of modern artificial intelligence frameworks, distributed training technologies, and open-source tooling
- Public speaking experience at industry conferences or technical events
- Existing professional relationships within the regional technology ecosystem
