This full-time on-site accounting role at SGS in the Philippines processes invoices across purchase order, non-PO and card channels. The accountant codes invoices to the chart of accounts, audits travel and expense claims and handles prepayments and vendor statements. The role also supports the AP subledger close and monthly checklists.
Responsibilities
- Review, validate and book PO, non-PO and credit card invoices in the accounting system.
- Code invoices to the chart of accounts and confirm they follow SGS policies and procedures.
- Audit travel and expense liquidation and track prepayments and prepaid invoices.
- Answer vendor inquiries and assist with the AP subledger close and month-end checklists.
Requirements
- Two or more years of procure-to-pay experience in invoice processing, with month-end close and reconciliation experience as nice-to-haves.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, business or finance.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite and general accounting principles is nice to have.
- Experience dealing with clients and a customer service attitude.
