Wise seeks a Procurement Operations Manager to shape the architecture of its procurement infrastructure and oversee everyday purchase-to-pay activities. Operating on-site, the person in this role will guide the source-to-pay transformation, manage vendor master data, and ensure purchasing activities balance compliance with agility.
This position requires a candidate who can handle system administration for the Omnea platform, manage tail spend, and establish standard operating procedures. The ideal professional will bridge the gap between financial regulations and internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and Information Security while championing process efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes using the Omnea tool and resolve system bottlenecks
- Maintain vendor master data integrity, onboarding, and purchase order approval workflows
- Act as the system administrator for the procurement platform and ensure integrations with Business Central and Medius
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track operational metrics and contract renewals
- Manage global buying channels such as punch-outs, hosted catalogs, P-Cards, and purchase orders
- Build and execute strategies to reduce tail spend and consolidate vendors
- Create standard operating procedures and process documentation that comply with internal controls and audits
- Manage change initiatives related to new procurement processes, policies, or technology rollouts
- Partner with Third Party Risk Management to maintain a risk framework suited for a regulated financial entity
- Design and monitor procurement operational controls and conduct self-assessments
- Serve as the primary bridge between budget holders, Finance, Legal, and Information Security
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of procurement operations experience in a fintech, software-as-a-service, or high-growth technology setting
- Hands-on experience implementing or managing modern e-procurement and source-to-pay platforms
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics, spend analysis, Excel, and business intelligence tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical, compliance, and senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Prior involvement in a procurement transformation or building a procurement operation from scratch
