Figma is seeking a Product Designer, AI Models to help bridge the gap between artificial intelligence research and professional design principles. Figma provides a collaborative platform that supports teams through brainstorming, prototyping, translation to code, and AI iteration. In this full-time role, the incumbent will teach AI models to function as effective design copilots, oversee evaluation quality, and improve model capabilities across the entire product suite.
This position suits an experienced design professional with strong aesthetic judgement who can collaborate closely with AI researchers. Responsibilities include formulating design heuristics, testing AI-generated outputs, translating technical concepts, and directing external partners. Candidates may perform this job from a United States Figma hub or remotely within the United States. New hires must attend in-person onboarding, and video interviews require candidates to keep their cameras enabled.
Responsibilities
- Partner with AI researchers to enhance model performance through a design lens
- Formulate and document design heuristics and principles for AI systems
