The organization seeks a Product Manager to guide the data catalogue, metadata, and data lineage domain. In this position, the individual will direct the strategic roadmap enabling internal users to discover, comprehend, trust, and securely utilize information at scale. Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the strategy and roadmap for the data catalogue, metadata, and data lineage domain
  • Analyze and comprehend the requirements of internal data professionals and AI agents
  • Determine and rank impactful problems by balancing user needs, business goals, platform constraints, and regulatory rules
  • Assess and execute solutions through building, purchasing, or integrating external products
  • Establish success metrics and key performance indicators to track adoption, value, and business outcomes
  • Partner with internal product, engineering, analytics, and data groups to gather feedback and align on platform investments
  • Collaborate directly with engineering, design, and data science colleagues to build platform experiences
  • Engage stakeholders across the Data Platform Studio and the broader enterprise to secure alignment on priorities
  • Contribute to shaping metadata management, governance, discoverability, lineage, and trust within an AI-focused environment
  • Monitor developments across data platforms, developer tools, AI and machine learning infrastructure, analytics, and data governance

Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of product management experience working on platform products, developer tools, data infrastructure, analytics platforms, or data governance systems
  • Demonstrate a technical foundation through an academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and/or prior background in engineering or technical positions
  • Engage comfortably in technical discussions with engineers while representing customer and business interests
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively to create alignment across groups with varied priorities and technical skills
  • Apply systems-thinking abilities to connect workflows, platforms, users, and business results
  • Demonstrate empathy for data practitioners and understand their daily hurdles
  • Navigate ambiguity, dissect complex issues, and establish clarity for teams
  • Maintain curiosity regarding artificial intelligence transformations within the data landscape
  • Lead with humility, foster trust through teamwork, and maintain team focus and momentum
