AlphaSense is seeking a Product Manager for Financial Data to focus on screening and search capabilities. The company operates an AI platform providing market intelligence and workflow orchestration, utilizing domain-specific artificial intelligence and a large repository of business documents.
In this position, you will oversee how financial data is presented through search functions and agentic features across the platform. You will sit where financial datasets meet discovery and action systems, ensuring information is structured, indexed, and ranked for human analysts and AI agents.
This role suits professionals who can collaborate with engineering, design, and business groups to create product requirements documents, build short- and medium-term roadmaps, and manage product backlogs from concept through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute short- and mid-term roadmaps for surfacing financial data through search, screening, and agentic capabilities
- Contribute to the long-term financial data vision by understanding user search and querying behaviors
- Assess gaps in searchability, screening logic, and content structure, prioritizing improvements to tagging, indexing, and ranking
- Write and prioritize product requirements documents informed by customer feedback and discovery
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to launch new search and screening features
- Partner with data platform and AI or machine learning teams to structure financial content for search infrastructure and agentic tools
- Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation and user stories to launch and iteration
- Conduct quality assurance strategies for search accuracy, screening precision, and reliability of agentic retrieval
- Work with core data platform teams to ensure data delivery and indexing performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building SaaS products alongside engineering and scrum teams
- Background in financial data products
- Experience creating PRDs, roadmaps, and requirements to align stakeholders and drive execution
- Ability to manage a complex product backlog and deliver features end-to-end
- Track record of owning roadmap and delivery in SaaS environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with AI-powered search or workflow technologies
