The Financial Data team within the company builds the core data foundation that drives this platform by sourcing and integrating structured datasets.
AlphaSense is seeking a Product Manager to oversee how financial data is exposed through search, screening, and agentic workflows. In this remote position, the individual will act as the bridge between financial datasets and the discovery systems utilized by human analysts and AI agents. Key duties involve defining short- and mid-term product roadmaps, authoring product requirements documents, and collaborating closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a strong background in financial data products.
Total base compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 128,000 to USD 160,000 per year, supplemented by potential performance-based bonuses, equity, and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive short- and mid-term roadmaps for financial data delivery via search, screening, and agentic functions
- Contribute to long-term strategies by studying client personas like investment bankers and analysts
- Identify gaps in searchability, content structure, and screening logic to prioritize necessary indexing and ranking improvements
- Author and prioritize product requirements documents based on client discovery and feedback
- Partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to guarantee successful feature launches
- Collaborate with data platform and AI machine learning groups regarding the structure and exposure of financial content
- Lead product development lifecycles from initial ideation and user stories through post-launch iteration
- Design and execute quality assurance strategies focused on search accuracy and retrieval reliability
- Coordinate with core data platform teams to support indexing performance and stable data delivery
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience building SaaS products alongside engineering and scrum teams
- Background working with financial data products
- Track record of managing a product backlog and delivering features end-to-end in SaaS environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
