AlphaSense seeks a Sector Project Lead for Healthcare within its Directed Content team to enhance proprietary research content and support strategic operations. AlphaSense operates an AI-driven market intelligence platform that assists professionals in business and finance by organizing large volumes of business documents and expert transcripts. In this position, the incumbent will report to the Director of Research, Healthcare, and collaborate across departments to guide process initiatives, perform quality assurance, and refine content offerings for the healthcare sector.
This opportunity is suited for a professional with significant healthcare industry knowledge and strong project management capabilities. Responsibilities include partnering with engineering and product groups, reviewing expert transcripts, developing directed content streams, and synthesizing client feedback. The candidate chosen will work in a dynamic, client-oriented environment, helping to drive the expansion of the Expert Transcript Library.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Directed Content stakeholders to lead projects and process initiatives aimed at improving operational performance
- Provide input and perform quality assurance on new products and features alongside Engineering and Product teams using healthcare domain expertise
- Conduct quality assurance reviews on expert transcripts, specifically those involving AI interviewers and third-party vendors
- Collaborate with the Content Innovation and Strategy team to identify and build directed content streams for AI-led interviewers
- Highlight prominent healthcare expert transcript library content for promotional activities and additional content initiatives
- Collect, synthesize, and distribute client feedback on healthcare coverage to drive process and content enhancements
- Create and maintain feedback loops with project teams to continuously elevate content quality and insight
- Pilot and optimize AI-enabled tools alongside Operations and Product teams to increase throughput and quality assurance precision
Requirements
- Possess 5 to 7 years of experience in equity research at a sell-side bank, investment firm, hedge fund, research provider, or expert network, or comparable experience in biopharma or medtech strategy, competitive intelligence, business development, or healthcare consulting
- Demonstrate deep domain expertise in the healthcare sector with a solid grasp of key players, business models, and industry trends
- Show a proven ability to lead projects, manage deadlines, and achieve business targets
- Exhibit original and independent thought coupled with analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation capabilities
- Possess the ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate broadly within an organization
