Job Description
Xplor provides cloud-based technology solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, helping them handle the daily operations of running and growing their enterprises through secure payment systems and intuitive tools. The company is currently hiring a Product Operations Leader to build an operating system focused on responsible artificial intelligence adoption, productivity, and commercialization.
Reporting directly to the Chief AI Officer, this hands-on leadership position requires partnering closely with business unit presidents, product and research and development teams, go-to-market leaders, finance, security, legal, privacy, and people teams. The role centers on three main areas: driving AI-enabled productivity, increasing customer adoption of AI features, and successfully commercializing those features. The incoming leader will own a shared operational layer that encompasses measurement, value tracking, portfolio governance, intake processes, and cost visibility.
This opportunity suits an experienced operations or product professional who can design KPI frameworks, establish portfolio-level governance, and unify teams working across diverse methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. The selected candidate will build and guide a product operations team while maintaining clear accountability, structured decision rights, and risk management processes across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a single scorecard with finance to track all AI benefits against incurred costs like inference, hosting, tools, and support
- Publish quarterly AI board scorecards covering value and risk measures alongside named owners and source systems
- Establish structured prioritization and triage workflows for operational and tooling enhancements
- Create measurement frameworks linking software delivery and AI-SDLC productivity signals to overarching business metrics
- Standardize reporting and metrics regarding how customers activate, use, retain, and find satisfaction in AI features over 30, 60, and 90-day periods
- Collaborate with finance and business unit leaders to monitor annual recurring revenue, paid attach rates, retention, expansion, win-rate uplifts, gross margins, and cost per successful task
- Conduct launch-readiness reviews before releasing AI pricing to ensure margin targets and enable sales and customer success teams
- Maintain decision rights, escalation pathways, and ownership registries for all data and artificial intelligence initiatives
- Execute monthly reviews of vendor and partner inventories regarding spend, overlapping tools, security compliance, and data terms
- Hire, mentor, and direct a product operations team while integrating artificial intelligence into internal operations for workflow automation
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in product operations, business operations, strategy and operations, technical program management, or product management within a technology or SaaS environment
- At least 3 years of experience operating at a senior or director level
- Proven history of developing key performance indicator and measurement frameworks connecting product delivery data to commercial outcomes like revenue, retention, and customer adoption
- Background collaborating with finance, sales, and marketing departments on go-to-market performance, pricing, and packaging
- Demonstrated capability in driving cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, customer success, and executive levels while influencing without direct authority
- Familiarity with multiple software delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
- Hands-on operational fluency utilizing product delivery tools like Jira, product analytics, business intelligence systems, and data integration architectures
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities for presenting technical and financial data clearly to executives
- Prior experience building, hiring, and leading professional teams
Qualifications
- Background dealing with product adoption, monetization, or usage-based pricing models
- Experience quantifying the effects of engineering productivity programs and AI-assisted development using frameworks like SPACE or DORA
