Job Description
Xplor is looking for a VP of Product to lead two main strategic priorities focused on AI-driven performance acceleration and a new data-as-a-service offering. The company provides cloud-based technology solutions designed to help small and medium-sized businesses manage operations and payments. In this role, the selected candidate will spearhead the adoption of AI agents, establish operational frameworks and governance, and develop insights products from system data while adhering to privacy and security compliance regulations.
This position is suited for an experienced product leader with a strong background in AI-native development and data product commercialization. The person joining this team will collaborate across business units to build internal AI champions, automate repeatable processes, and design monetization strategies for data-as-a-service offerings. Candidates must possess authorization to work in the country of the advertisement, as visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and train a network of AI champions across every function and business unit to build and own automations
- Identify high-volume, repeatable processes in departments such as support, finance, and engineering, and maintain a centralized automation backlog
- Define the operational model and central registry for AI agents, including risk tiers and oversight from intake to retirement
- Partner with Security and IT to establish least-privilege access, audit logs, and monitoring standards for agents
- Develop data-as-a-service insight products from records data, such as industry benchmarks and cash-flow forecasts
- Establish pricing, packaging, and go-to-market plans for data monetization offerings
- Collaborate with Legal and Security teams to ensure privacy compliance, anonymization, and adherence to regional data protection laws
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in product management
- At least 5 years of experience leading product leaders in B2B SaaS or vertical software
- Demonstrated history of launching data, AI, or ML products that generate measurable revenue impact
- Hands-on experience prototyping with AI coding and agent tools
- Experience shipping AI-first products incorporating agentic workflows and human-in-the-loop design
- Evaluation-driven product practice experience including setting quality thresholds and monitoring production AI
- Working knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, agents, retrieval, evaluation, and data foundations
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is advertised
Qualifications
- Background in strategy, consulting, or venture roles sizing AI opportunities
- Experience establishing an AI center of excellence or central pod model
- Familiarity with AI management standards such as ISO/IEC 42001 or the NIST AI Risk Management Framework
