Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Druva's Office of the CEO, a compact team built on trust that moves between strategy work, operations and special projects. The Project Lead owns a critical part of how the business plans and runs, covering the company's planning cadence, operational strategy and long-range direction. The position reports up to the Office of the CEO and comes with substantial autonomy.

The lead carries out independent research on competitive dynamics, market conditions and complex business trends to inform decisions by the CEO and the board. The job takes murky or partial data and distills it into clear strategic recommendations, flags risks and opportunities early, and acts as a sounding board for senior leaders.

The role owns the company's highest-priority cross-functional initiatives from start to finish, setting project strategy, timelines and success measures, and resolving conflicts between departments. It prepares concise progress briefings for the CEO and executive staff, and decides what needs escalation and what it can handle alone.

The lead also supports the operating rhythm of the company, including the all-hands, Quarterly Business Reviews and E-Staff meetings, by shaping agendas, preparing executive content and following up on action items. Candidates should have three to five years of experience, preferably at a leading consultancy, in corporate strategy, or at a fast-growing software firm, along with a bachelor's degree in a business, management or engineering subject, or a closely related area. An MBA is a plus. The posting lists a base pay range of $112,000 to $157,333 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Research complex business trends and competitive dynamics for CEO and board decisions
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for the most important cross-functional initiatives
  • Act as the liaison between departments and executive stakeholders
  • Brief the CEO and executive staff with concise progress updates
  • Support the operating rhythm, including all-hands, QBRs and E-Staff meetings
  • Introduce new planning and communication frameworks at the executive level

Requirements

  • Three to five years of professional work
  • Bachelor's degree in a business, management or engineering subject, or a related area
  • Track record of advising and influencing senior leaders on high-stakes decisions
  • Grasp of how operations and strategy work in SaaS-model companies
  • Ability to set direction on your own in ambiguous situations
  • Polished writing, speaking and interpersonal skills plus executive presence
  • Strict confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information

Qualifications

  • MBA, a plus
  • Working knowledge of AI and LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini for research, synthesis and analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
