The Quality Coordinator at SGS keeps the minerals, trade and energy laboratory quality management system in line with ISO 17025 and ready for external assessment. Responsibilities
- Maintain and evaluate the quality management system and prepare it for audits
- Manage nonconformities, root cause analysis and close-outs
- Coordinate proficiency testing and review QA and QC charts
- Prepare the monthly quality system report and support management reviews
Requirements
- Working knowledge of ISO 17025
- At least 3 years in analytical services
- Full knowledge of laboratory quality systems and the LIMS system
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in quality management and/or chemistry, or equivalent recognised through prior learning
- Internal auditing knowledge is an advantage
- Understanding of coal services is an advantage
