Responsibilities
- Manage packaging systems from the initial concept phase through production across various product categories
- Create dielines, print-ready files, and artwork meeting production and vendor specifications
- Inspect press checks and proofs to ensure print, material, and structural accuracy
- Monitor packaging projects to align with launch timelines and production deadlines
- Translate established brand strategies into structural and packaging design solutions
- Keep visual systems uniform across retail, packaging, and marketing materials
- Expand brand identities across new consumer touchpoints and product lines
- Art direct brand campaigns, packaging refreshes, and product launches
- Design supporting brand assets, point-of-sale materials, and retail displays
- Collaborate with marketing, external vendors, product development, and production teams
- Present design concepts and rationales to clients and internal stakeholders
- Handle feedback cycles and deliver revisions within established timelines
- Mentor junior designers regarding production and packaging standards
- Evaluate team work against brand and print-quality requirements
- Establish documentation for design standards and file conventions
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in creative direction, brand design, or packaging design with end-to-end ownership from concept to production
- Portfolio featuring at least two to three packaging systems shipped to retail that include both graphic and structural work
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop for creating artwork, dielines, and print layouts
- Working understanding of packaging structures, print processes, substrates, and production specifications
- Background in designing for wellness, consumer electronics, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods brands
- Proven development of brand identities extended across retail, packaging, and marketing touchpoints
- C1 or higher English proficiency according to the CEFR framework for presenting to client-side stakeholders
Qualifications
- Experience using Cinema 4D or Adobe Dimension for 3D packaging visualization and mockups
- Familiarity with Figma for cross-functional collaboration and brand systems
- Background in retail merchandising and point-of-sale display design
- Established direct working relationships with production vendors and packaging manufacturers
- Previous packaging work executed for global brands or international market launches
