This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai sits in Experian's Analytics Product and Innovation team and focuses on building data-driven products from consumer bureau data. The analyst prototypes models, validates them, supports UAT and productisation, and writes reusable analytical code with Product and Technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large bureau and financial-services datasets to find signals for new analytics products.
- Build and benchmark statistical and machine-learning models, scores and segmentations.
- Apply robust validation and document assumptions, limitations and methodology.
- Support UAT, defect investigation and productisation with Product and Technology teams.
Requirements
- About 3+ years of experience in analytics, data science, decision science or statistical modelling.
- Strong hands-on Python for data work, modelling and machine learning.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for large, complex datasets.
- Solid grounding in applied statistics and model evaluation.
Qualifications
- Experience with SAS, Spark or Databricks, Git, or automated analytics workflows is good to have.
- Exposure to credit risk, bureau data, fraud or decision analytics is valuable.
