Job Description
Instructure is seeking a Sales Operations Manager, Foundry to act as the operational engine for New Markets, a division focused on building new revenue streams through AI-developed products. Operating within a portfolio of small, independent product pods, this full-time, on-site role owns the end-to-end go-to-market lifecycle from initial strategy and market sizing to launch execution, performance tracking, and core business handoffs.
This is a blank-page position that requires building systems and frameworks without an existing playbook. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, exercises rigorous data analysis, and influences cross-functional teams without direct authority. Responsibilities include shaping go-to-market strategies with pod founders, designing sales motions, building reporting backbones in Salesforce and Excel, and managing launch readiness across multiple departments.
Instructure provides competitive compensation, participation in an ownership program, a cash bonus pool tied to portfolio milestones, flexible work options, generous time off including an annual December recharge period, comprehensive wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, and the Motivosity employee recognition program. All candidates must pass a background check and complete identity verification steps during the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end go-to-market lifecycle for pod products from early strategy to post-launch performance tracking and core business handoffs
- Collaborate with pod founders, marketing, and sales overlay teams to establish ideal customer profiles, pricing input, channel strategy, and competitive positioning
- Design sales coverage models, pipeline processes, forecasting cadences, and rules of engagement for early seller cohorts
- Build and maintain Salesforce and Excel analytics tracking pipeline health, win/loss rates, attach rates, average contract values, and renewals
- Lead launch readiness efforts including CRM configurations, playbook documentation, and cross-functional alignment across finance, deal desk, IT, and marketing
- Define graduation criteria and integration procedures for products transitioning from pods to the broader seller base
- Translate complex early-stage data into executive-level narratives for business reviews, planning forums, and annual planning sessions
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or related go-to-market functions
- Demonstrated experience supporting new-product launches or emerging business initiatives without an existing playbook
- At least three years of hands-on experience building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data structures in Salesforce
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, variance analysis, and generating decision-ready outputs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering executive-level presentations
- Successful completion of a background check and identity verification process
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree
