This is a fully remote, US-based position offering a base salary between $102,500 and $136,500 per year, accompanied by variable compensation opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
Operating as a hands-on technical lead, the incoming professional will construct and govern sophisticated Salesforce systems powering critical go-to-market operations. Responsibilities span designing solutions via Apex and Lightning Web Components, configuring Data Cloud and Agentforce AI automation, managing continuous integration pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional business stakeholders.
The role suits an independent engineer who is comfortable in command-line environments, prioritizes engineering standards, and possesses extensive enterprise platform experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct complex Salesforce systems using Apex and Lightning Web Components alongside declarative tools such as Flows
- Own the complete development life cycle from requirements analysis through production deployment utilizing Salesforce CLI and sandbox environments
- Establish architectural best practices, code review processes, and test coverage guidelines across the engineering group
- Build and maintain Data Cloud data streams, calculated insights, and activation targets to unify customer information
- Develop Agentforce tools and Einstein artificial intelligence features to streamline user workflows
- Integrate Salesforce with external data lakes like Databricks utilizing SQL and APIs
- Manage deployment workflows and continuous integration pipelines using version control systems
- Implement integrations connecting Salesforce with platforms such as NetSuite, Workday, Clari, and Certinia
Requirements
- Reside in the United States with authorization to work for any employer without sponsorship
- Bring at least five years of hands-on Salesforce development experience within enterprise settings
- Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Apex and Lightning Web Components
- Possess solid familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and Data 360 features
- Show practical experience managing source-driven deployments through multiple sandboxes and utilizing Salesforce CLI
- Hold operational knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for Salesforce
- Maintain strong SQL querying capabilities and familiarity with data lake environments
- Operate effectively in terminal environments and read or write shell scripts
Qualifications
- Prior exposure to MuleSoft, event-driven architecture, and REST or SOAP API design
- Familiarity with financial, ERP, or revenue management systems including NetSuite, Workday, Clari, Certinia, and Salesforce CPQ
- Active professional certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, or Agentforce Specialist
- Background working in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity industries
