SGS is currently hiring for an SAP Data Analyst position. This full-time role focuses on handling sample registrations, generating invoices, and managing client data within a laboratory testing and logistics environment. The person selected will handle work orders, apply quality control protocols, and communicate with clients and internal team members regarding account payable matters.
The position requires working on-site for a period of two to six months, with hybrid arrangements potentially varying by affiliate country. Ideal candidates possess strong data entry capabilities and an eye for detail, functioning well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Register client samples into LIMS using submission forms to create accurate work orders
- Communicate submission discrepancies and issues to supervisors or Canadian resources
- Apply correct QC protocols to meet QP21 guidelines and client needs
- Generate and distribute work order acknowledgements and customer invoices
- Link price lists and sales quotations to work orders
- Follow up with client accounts payable contacts regarding payments
- Maintain and prepare reports from electronic and manual files, databases, and inventories
- Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies
- Coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of secondary education
- At least three years of previous experience in a data entry role
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Typing speed of 70 words per minute and 8,000 keystrokes per hour
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Adherence to company Quality Management, Health and Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative invoicing role
